The congress consisted of three separate tournaments: the Grand Tournament, the Minor Tournament and the Problem Tournament.

The results of the Minor Tournament was:

     1st - William Horner of Brooklyn, N.Y.;
     2nd - Moses Solomons, New York City;
     3rd William Seebach, New York City;
     4th Martin Mantin, New York City.
 

The winner of the Problem Tournament was:
                Rudolf Willmers of Vienna, Austria
