| This result for offhand games is given by Spinrad from 'Life Maps of the Masters' but are not mentioned in La Régence (see Cornil), the Illustrated London News or the Chess Player's Chronicle. If they did, in fact, take place, I suppose they must have been played in Apr. 1860 during Anderssen's visit to Paris for his formal match against Kolisch. |
