Notes: |
There were originally 13 players, but 4 seem to have withdrawn (H.N. Kittson, W.W. Cushing, W.B. Hume and J. Rosen). The total scores of the other 9 players against each other are known, and the crosstable is known except for the sub-crosstable between Price, Sim and Lane, all of whom scored a total of 3.0. Sim apparently withdrew during the event, but since his known wins are against Jones and Griffin, and he scored 3 in total, then he must have played either Price or Lane and won, before withdrawing and defaulting his final game against the other one of those two. I will guess that he played and beat Lane and defaulted against Price, but the reverse could be true, so I risk making a small error here. If Sim beat Lane, then Lane beat Price (to score 3) and Price won only by default against Sim (so that game is not ratable). |
