| The finals resulted in a three-way tie, so a play-off round was held between these three. The article reproduced by Thimognier from Le Petit Journal of 21 Feb. 1924 says that this play-off took place 'yesterday' ('hier') but elsewhere it says that play only took place on Sundays, and 20 Feb. 1924 was a Wednesday, so perhaps the report was actually written earlier. Thimognier says that the entire event ended on 10 Feb. 1924, which makes the report of 21 Feb. 1924 a bit late, but I will follow his assessment of the dates here. |
