The scores given by Thimognier (citing La Stratégie) add. up to 64.5 rather than 66 as they should for a 12-player single-round all-pay-all tournament. In fact, the number of half points must be even, since each draw is split by two players, and in Thimognier's list, only Drezga has a score that has a half point, rather than a whole number. I will assume that the problems lie at the bottom of the list, so I guess that Gorog got 3.5, rather than 3, as listed by Thimognier, and that G. Lazard and Anglares did not player their game. This makes the scores add up in a sensible way, but my guesses may be wrong, in which case a small error has been introduced. |
