Notes: |
The scores given by Sarah add to 67, not 66 as they should for a 12-player single-round all-play-all tournament. I surmise that one of the players near the bottom of the table scored one less than reported. Since that could not be Hazel Allen, who scored 0, and since Hilde Grau and Miss M.J. Smith got the same score, I will guess that Mrs. Leeds scored 3 instead of the 4 reported. Of course, this could be incorrect, in which case there will be a slight error in the ratings. Hazel Allen withdrew, but at what stage is not made clear. I include her as if she lost all 11 games, though perhaps she did not play any, in which case all other players should have 1 point less and out of 10, rather than 11. |
