Notes: |
Feenstra Kuiper and Di Felice give the result as +3-1=6 for von Bardeleben, and give the location as Berlin. Sergeant gives the result as +6-1=6 for von Bardeleben, and says it was played after the Hastings congress 'at the headquarters of the Chess Bohemians', which was in Ludgate Circus, London (see the Illustrated London News of 20 Oct. 1894, p.510). I am adopting the result of the former, and the location of the latter, until I find further information. |
