Feenstra Kuiper gives date as 1900; La Grande Storia degli Scacchi gives 1902; Hooper and Whyld give 'autumn of 1901'; Di Felice and Winter give 17 Nov.-18 Dec. 1901. According to Winter, Corzo claimed that these were offhand games, whereas Capablanca claimed more significance to the match. |
