| In a letter in the Schachzeitung (Apr. 1847, p.117) and the Chess Player's Chronicle of 1847 (v.8, p.191), von der Lasa says that these games were played during his visit to Hamburg 'towards the close of last year'. A fifth game at the same odds was unfinished. |
