| According to Robert Jones at his Passmore web page, an 8-game match was played in June 1904, followed by two more games. Tim Harding, however, has found the match result +5-1=2 for Leonhardt in the 30 Jan. 1904 issue of the Field, with no mention of the other two games. I will guess, until further information arises, that the 8-game match was played in Jan. 1904 (recorded as a separate result here), and the other two games, both draws, in June 1904. Di Felice gives the same results as two separate matches. |
