| Result reported as 7-6 for Maczuski in the 10 Mar. 1861 issue of the Era (p.15), but as +7-6=3 for Maczuski in the Mar. 1861 issue of La Nouvelle Régence (p.94). Zavatarelli, in the Quarterly for Chess History, mistakenly gives the result as +7-6=3 for Mosengel. I am guessing that it finished in Feb. 1861, since it is reported in the 10 Mar. 1861 issue of the Era (p.15), but it may have finished early in March. |
