| It is stated in the Schachzeitung of Mar. 1853 that Szén played these games on a visit to Vienna on his return from the London tournament in the summer of the previous year. I am guessing that this should mean two years previously, and that his visit was in Aug. 1851, since that is the month in which he passed through Paris on his return from London. |
