| The Apr. 1888 issue of the International Chess Magazine says that Steinitz won all offhand games during his visit to Havana, and the May 1888 issue gives an offhand game with Gavilan. Even if there were more games between Steinitz and Gavilan, 1-0 is a fair representation of the result. |
