| The British Chess Magazine says that Hoffer won two games from Dalla Rosa. There is some doubt as to whether this was a complete result, since the same report mentions two games that he won of Salvioli without mentioning his loss to Salvioli, but I will include the 2-0 result against Dalla Rosa. The Jun.-Aug. issue of Nuova rivista degli scacchi says that Hoffer's visit was in Apr. 1897. |
