| This is a soft result. The exact score is not known, but Centurini wrote, in the Nuova Rivista Degli Scacchi of 1882, that Kolisch won in a proportion of 8 to 5 (see Zavatarelli, p.18). Centurini said that Kolisch visited Padua in 1862, and Zannoni says 1863-1864, but Zavatarelli gives arguments that it must have been earlier, in 1857 or 1858, and that Centurini and Zannoni were going by memory and got the year wrong. |
