Javier Cordero Fernández, on his web page account of Karlin's visit to Spain in 1933, makes it clear that it was played in Valencia, and includes 2 games from the match, one dated Apr. 1933 and the other dated 26 Apr. 1933. This suggests that the match was played entirely in April, though it might have extended into May. At some point in May, Karlin moved on from Valencia to Madrid. |
