| The San Francisco Chronicle of 4 Oct. 1903 (p.32) says that John L. McCutcheon was visiting San Francisco and playing local players. The issue of 29 Nov. 1903 (p.27) says that 'a few weeks ago' Manson 'made an even score against John McCutcheon'. I use a soft result of 1-1 to indicate this, and assume the games were played in Oct. 1903. |
