| The Te Aroha News of 3 Mar. 1925 cites this result from a letter written by Kostic on 10 Jan. 1925, so I will suppose that these games took place in 1924, though they could have extended into the first days of Jan. 1925. Since Kostic was in Cape Town in early December 1924, I guess that he went to Johannesburg later that month (a report in the Perth Sunday Times of 22 Feb. 1925 on his Cape Town visit says he had visited Durban, Capetown and Wellington, but does not yet mention Johannesburg). |
