| This is a soft result. The Schachzeitung of Oct. 1846 (p.135) says that Freund had an advantage in games played with Jenay during his stay in Vienna on the way to Pest, but that when he played Jenay again on his return trip, the difference was compensated, which I take to mean that overall they came out about equal. I represent this as a 1-1 score. |
