| In a letter dated 15 Jan. 1844, Bledow says that he went to Brandenburg for two days between Christmas and the New Year. He gives this result, losing only 6 out of about 20 games at Rook odds, against Angerstein and the Burgermeister. It is not clear whether Angerstein and the Burgermeister consulted on the games, or whether some were against Angerstein, and some against the Burgermeister, but I will attribute all of them to Angerstein, since it seems likely that the Burgermeister played a more minor role. |
