| This was part of the second of two matches between these two players reported in the 15 Feb. 1893 La Stratégie, in which Goetz gave odds of a Knight in every second game, but they played even in the others. Since the report lists playing even first, I guess that the first, third, and fifth games were played even, and the second and fourth at Knight odds. I also guess that the match finished in Feb. 1893, thought it might have finished earlier. |
