| Dufresne, in a letter to Sissa (p.324) says that Maczuski came to see him at 9:30 at night, when Dufresne was very tired (could hardly keep his eyes open), and he says that they played two games, both very bad, and Maczuski did not write them down. I take this to imply that Dufresne lost them both. Whether or not Dufresne's excuse is valid, such excuses are common and I will rate the two games anyway. |
