| Notes: |
| This is a soft result. Walker says in the 13 Dec. 1840 Bell's Life in London that when de la Bourdonnais had been at the Café de la Régence for a year (I take this to mean 1817), none of the four players Mouret, Boncourt, Weyle, or Alexandre, could give de la Bourdonnais a piece 'at all'. I take this to mean that they were about equal to de la Bourdonnais at Pawn and Two Move odds (the next class up the scale), so I assume a soft result of =1 at those odds. |
