| Reichhelm gives this result of offhand games (+2-1=0 for Weiss). Hilbert's book on Walter Penn Shipley (p.55) says that Weiss arrived in Philadelphia late in the week of 27 May to 2 June 1889 and remained 5 days. Voigt was his first opponent during his Philadelphia visit. |
