| Di Felice's Chess Results, 1921-1930 and Gaige's Chess Tournament Crosstables have 'Nielsen, John' at Svenborg 1930. Di Felice's Chess Results, 1936-1940 has 'Nielsen, John Bauneborg' playing in Copenhagen in 1940. There was a player named John Bauneborg Nielsen, born 1963, so unless there was an earlier player of the same name, the middle name here is wrong. According to Skakbladet of 1952 (p.132), he died at age 52 on 17-06-1952, and so was born between 18-06-1899 and 17-06-1900. |
