| Gaige and Di Felice have 'L.Y. Collins' at the Paris Championship 1926, and Gaige cites La Stratégie 1927. Thimognier has 'Collins, LG', and cites L'Echiquier 1927. However, now Thimognier (personal communication) tells me that he strongly suspects it was Donald J. Collins, 'who was a pillar of the Paris British Chess Club at the same period'. |
