| Only partial results available. The number of players in this section is not given, but the scores given, and the fact that other sections in this event were double-round-all-play-all tournaments, strongly suggest that there were 5 players. The 5th (unlisted) player would then have had a score of 1. Although this was part of an event referred to as 'le tournoi handicap annuel', it seems to have been divided into 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th class sections, in each of which the players would be expected to have played even. Cornil cites the 19 May 1905 issue of La Stratégie, which says the tournament was then being completed, so I assume it ended sometime in May. I am guessing that the 'Fernandez' at this event was 'Edouard Fernandez'. |
