Sobernheim defaulted his games against Helms, Searle and Dixon. The New York Recorder of 18 Aug. 1893 indicates that Sobernheim also defaulted to Waller but the New York Sun of 10 Aug. 1893 says that 'Walker' [sic] won from Sobernheim. I will guess that the latter is correct.
