Event data |
Name: 8th Czech Chess Association Congress - Championship |
Place: Pardubice |
Start date: 5 Aug. 1923 |
End date: 18 Aug. 1923 |
|
Notes: |
Feenstra Kuiper has 'Levy' and 'Vitkasky' at this eveng; Gaige has 'S. Šerý' and '[A.] Vítkovský'; Di Felice has 'Sery, St.' and 'Vitkovsky, A.'; Mudroň has 'S. Šerý' and 'Dr. A. Vítkovský'. The latter was a pseudonym of Adolf Dušek. Note, however, that there was a player named Dušek who won the Secondary B Tournament at this Congress, but Mudroň (p.18) identifies Vitkovský with Dušek at this event. |
