| Notes: |
| Miller forfeited to Strunk, Willenburg, and Schaeffer. The British Chess Magazine of Apr. 1890 (p.134) does not give a precise score for the play-off, but only says that Fisher won it. I assume a score of 1-0, to be conservative. The British Chess Magazine says that the 'various State Chess Associations held their Annual Congresses as usual on February 22nd.' But a 7-player all-play-all tournament is unlikely to have taken place all on one day, so I place it in Feb. 1890, without precise dates. |
