Notes: |
Only partial results available. This was an international Swiss event including, in addition to those listed here, Noteboom, Kieninger, Wegemund, Dreyer, Fajarowicz, Haar, and Rogmann. McGowan gives only the results of Richter's seven games, as well as total scores for Helling and Haar (5.5), Dreyer, Fajarowicz, Kieninger, Steiner and Whitaker (5). These scores cannot be used for rating, because I do not know who their opponents were. McGowan does mention that Kühn beat both Steiner and Whitaker, but I don't include these without full results for these players, because selected results can bias the ratings. Notes from McGowan also indicate that Whitaker beat Walter and Helling, but again I can't use these results by themselves. McGowan also tells me that Hartewig of Plauen (Emil Johann Hartewig) was here. |
