| Partial results available. This was a handicap tournament, with 3 knockout rounds to reduce 86 players to 11 (although La Stratégie says 12, final scores were out of 10). These 11 in the 'poule finale' played an all-play-all. Final scores are given for 4 players but only the two in the same class (Taubenhaus and de Riviere in class 1) can be compared on this basis. Weissmann came second with 7/10 but was in class 2. Tauber came equal third with 6/10 but was in class 3. Dates not give precisely, but the Feb. 15 issue of La Stratégie (cited by Cornil) says that it had started and the May 15 issue said that it had finished, so I will guess that it began in Feb. and ended in Apr. |
