| This was designed as a knock-out tournament with 15 players signed up. John Dewe got a bye in the first round, but T.H. Ince forfeited to J.W. Gordon without playing, as did D.D. Hobson to H. Joseph. Thus, 8 players went to the second round, and four to the third. In the third round B.L. Franklin forfeited to J.H. Gordon without playing. The final was J.H. Gordon - Pulaski. |
