Event table notes

Event data
Name: Wiener Schachclub Winter Tournament
Place: Vienna
Start date: 6 Dec. 1874
End date: Feb. 1875

Notes:
This double-round all-play-all started with 12 players, but August Kaulla withdrew after playing just a few games, and he was replaced by Maximilian Fleissig. Then, later, Emil Feyerfeil and Berthold Englisch also withdrew, leaving 10 players. Scores given seem to include games against the players who withdrew. There is no indication of which opponents the withdrawn players actually played against and which they did not (or how many times), so the given scores could be slightly biased in not accounting for who played whom amongst the three who withdrew. I have recorded them as scores out of 24 as if all 13 players were there. This will lead to a slight inaccuracy in ratings. The two remaining players for whom scores are not given were Josef Schulhof and Anton Lang.
