Start date: Jan. 1905 |
End date: Jan. 1905 |

Notes: |
Donaldson and Minev cite Wladyslaw Povarov for this tournament result, dated to Jan. 1905. However, Tony Gillam suspects that it might have been in 1903, another training tournament with a different result taking place in 1905. The results he gives for that (Dus-Chotimirsky 5.5, Salwe 5, Rubinstein 4.5) don't make it clear how many players were involved, nor how many games were played between each pair of players. Kogan agrees with Ponarov (information from Walter Chan), dating the first set of scores to 1905. I leave this with a date 1905, but this may need to be revised if further information comes to light. |
