Event table notes

Event data
Name: 3rd Franklin Chess Club Championship
Place: Philadelphia
Start date: Nov. 1887
End date: Mar. 1888

Notes:
It is not clear what odds the Pawn and move players gave to the Rook players. I have assumed Knight (which would be typical between such classes) but it could have been Pawn and move or Pawn and two moves. Hilbert gives two games dated Jan. 1888, but cites a report of 26 Feb. 1888 saying that the tournament was 'substantially over'. So I will guess that it finished in Mar. 1888.
