Thimognier says that in some sources, Miss Wallace is listed as the 13th player, in others not. He suggests that she abandoned the event part way through. The scores given total to 77, which is too many for a 12-player single-round all-play-all (which would have 66 games), but is exactly 1 short of the total for a 13-player all-play-all. So it seems that Miss Wallace's games were included in the official scores, and that she scored (officially) 1 point. If she forfeited some of her games, that is not indicated and we don't know against whom, so for now I will include her with a score of 1. |
