Sarah's Chess Journal has Boris Aleksander Nikolaev (or Boris Alexandrovich Nikolajew), as does Rivista scacchistica italiana, Deutsche Schachzeitung and Weiner Schachzeitung. I will guess that this was Boris Alexandrovich Nikolaev, who was also Kiev Champion in later years. |
