| Scores out of 20 indicate a 4-round, 6-player all-play-all tournament. Snow's and Simmons' scores are out of 19 instead of 20, so I am guessing that one game between them was not played. Horace Richardson and F.P. Harlow started the tournament but withdrew before completing their first round. Partial scores for them are given in the 15 Jun. 1888 Boston Weekly Post, but their scores were eliminated, and we don't know which opponents they played in the first round, nor the results of those games, so they are not included here. |
