| Only partial results available. The report in the Dundee Courier of 2 Feb. 1886 gives only the scores of Fleming and Baxter. I have assumed that it was a single-round 13-player all-play-all tournament, but it is possible that it had two rounds with 7 players, or even 3 rounds with 5 players or 4 rounds with 4 players. The play-off match was for the first 5 won games, but I only know that Fleming won, so I use a soft result of 1-0 for that. |
