Name: Lithuanian Championship Candidates Tournament |
Place: Kaunas |
Start date: 10 Feb. 1935 |
End date: 15 Mar. 1935 |
|
Notes: |
The Lithuanian Wikipedia page says that there were 13 players and lists scores for 13 players indicating that scores were out of 12. But the sum of the scores comes to 87.5, rather than 78 for a 13-player single-round all-play-all tournament. Either the scores are wrong or there was a 14th player, not listed, who scored 3.5, bringing the total to 91, which is correct for a 14-player single-round all-play-all tournament. I assume the latter, which implies that scores were out of 13, rather than 12. |
