| The crosstable in Österreichische Schachrundschau of Nov. 1922 (p.77) indicated forfeited games by an asterisk against the result. Meller forfeited to both Schuster and Sauer. However, the game Lokvenc-Meller is marked as a forfeit loss '0*' for Meller, but as a win (without the asterisk) for Lokvenc, while the game Sauer-Weiss is marked as a win by forfeit for Sauer, but a loss (without the asterisk) for Weiss. My guess is that the row of 3 forfeit losses for Meller is correct and that the asterisk by Sauer's win over Weiss was misplaced and should have been by Lokvenc's win over Meller. |
