The 15 Jan. 1892 La Stratégie (p.23) gives the first-class players in this handicap tournament as baron d'André, de Campou, Dommery, vicomte de Foucault, and de Lassus, and says that there were 16 players overall. The 15 Mar. 1892 La Stratégie (p.83) gives only the result of the final match between de Foucault and d'André. I am guessing that it started in Jan. and ended in Mar. 1892. |
