End date: Dec. 1892

Notes:
Scores given in La Stratégie (Dec. 1892, p.376) add to 25.5, which cannot be correct. The total for a 6-player double-round all-play-all tournament should be 30, so 4.5 points are unaccounted for. Although the half point is problematic, I am guessing that Garcia Meran forfeited one game each against the top 4 players, and a half point against Hubert (though of course a forfeit, if it indeed occurred must be a full point). There is no indication that such forfeits were made by Garcia Meran, but perhaps it is slightly more likely that he forfeited games, since his score is so low. If this is wrong, it will distort especially his rating, but to a smaller extent the other players as well. The report appears in the 15 Dec. 1892 issue, so I will guess that the tournament ended early in Dec. 1892, though it could have ended earlier.
