| Only partial results available. The report in the Neue Berliner Schachzeitung of Jun. 1870 (p.167) says that 26 players took part in two groups based on strength (so no handicaps). In each group, every player played two games against every other, and the number of losses of the top four players in Group 1 are given. I will guess that 13 players were in each group (though the numbers may have been uneven), and that therefore scores were out of 24. So, since Eisenbach had only 2 losses, I take his score to be 22/24, etc. Other players included Ljutinsky, Fischer, and perhaps Swerczek. |
