| Svenska Dagbladet (4 Jun. 1914, p.10) and Tiskrift För Schack (May-Jun. 1914, p.130) give only the scores of the top 5, without saying how many players there were. The Nov. 1913 Tidskrift För Schack (p.199) lists 12 players signed up for this event, but in the end 12 could not have competed, since then the average score of the remaining 7 players would be over 5. The most likely structure was a 10-player single-round all-play-all tournament, where the other 5 players would have averaged 3 points. There are other possibilities (e.g., 9-player single-round, or 11-player single-round), but these are less likely. |
