| The scores given by Popovsky add to 77, when they should add to 78 for a 13-players single-round all-play-all tournament. I will guess (without any real evidence) that one game between the bottom two players was not played. Popovsky gives the result twice, once under 1932 and once under 1933, citing Shakhmaty v SSSR in one case and 64 in the other, but even the report in 64 says that it was for the 1932 Championship of Stalino. |
