Notes: |
Di Felice's crosstable has inconsistent scores for Samuel against Fink, Henne, Wittram and Lüth. Gaige's crosstable is consistent. I am guessing that it was Woldemar Svenson who played here (though he only played one game). Gaige and Di Felice both have just 'Svenson' but Woldemar lived in Riga for many years including 1899-1900, while his brother Constantin Svenson lived in Kiev. Constantin did appear in Riga at times (e.g. 1893), so there is some possibility that it was Constantin at this event, rather than Woldemar. |
