Only partial results available. This was a 12-a-side team match within the Edinburgh Club, teams chosen by the club president and vice-president (Mellis). Although it is only stated who beat who in the three pairings reported, I guess that only one game was played per pairing, since the event occurred at Mellis' residence and therefore presumably all in one day. The report in the Illustrated London News of 1 Mar. 1873 (p.211) says that the event took place 'recently', so I guess that it was in February 1873.
