| This was a 16-player knockout tournament. Forster says that Burn lost to Chinn in the first round, but does not say how many games were played. I guess that it was a single win for Chinn. Forster also says that H.E. Atkins and C.F Corke (a rook and move class player) won the 1st and 2nd prizes, and that C.H. Sherrard and F. Feeny (a pawn and move class player) won the 3rd and 4th prizes. No scores for these are given, though, so I only include a result for Burn-Chinn. |
